This map demonstrated the Zines created by young people on the island through workshops
During two days, in collaboration with Elin Angharad, the curator of Zine Cymru (a Zine library showcasing and collecting Zines from Wales and beyond), we facilitated a workshop on zine making with students from Coleg Menai. We set a breif to focus on any aspect of Anglesey they may be inspired by, whether thats folklore, geology, wildlife, or personal experiences—basically anything that could be linked back to Anglesey. I was particularly interested in any sort of artistic response to Anglesey and the students were brilliant in what they came up with.
This is a map of Walters life on the line, telling his story of his time supporting and campaigning for the line. The time and dedication to keeping it open, and his continued commitment to help it to reopen again one day, and connect communities once again along the line.
The details of these pointers are taken from https://www.leinamlwch.co.uk/History
