During two days, in collaboration with Elin Angharad, the curator of Zine Cymru (a Zine library showcasing and collecting Zines from Wales and beyond), we facilitated a workshop on zine making with students from Coleg Menai. We set a breif to focus on any aspect of Anglesey they may be inspired by, whether thats folklore, geology, wildlife, or personal experiences—basically anything that could be linked back to Anglesey. I was particularly interested in any sort of artistic response to Anglesey and the students were brilliant in what they came up with.

This is a map of where the giants of Anglesey live, as chosen by the pupils who were asked to create an Anglesey Giant, picking their favorite place where it came from and what was special about it. They also made a stone to put in the apron of the Anglesey giant, which is mapped here based on the pace that stone came from.
