Within the 2 days we worked with this school, we focused on studying the sea and specifically what we might find in the sea. From the beginning, there was a strong focus on waste in the sea.
This is a umap representing what we did in the 2 sessions we did with the school.
This is the UMap used for our second session with Ysgol Pencarnisiog with the Environmental mapping, Habitat Hunters. We had 3 different activities on at once, which they rotated through every 20 to 30 minutes. This specific activity entailed learning how to use umap, they digitised their habitat maps from the first session as well as explored how to use the program.
This is a umap representing what we did in the 2 sessions we did with the school. In the second session, we did 3 activities, and one of those was to create their own umaps using tablets, these are labelled as tablets 1 through 10 on the layers.
