Where there is seating it is in bad condition or dirty, some have nails sticking out.
The bins are overflowing
Parking on road- making it dangerous
Tractors going faster since double yellow lines
School bus to Santes Dwynwen school, Newborough
No bus to other primary school (Pencarnisiog)
Not enough pedestrian crossings
Roads surfaces are uneven and there’s lots of potholes
It’s impossible to cross the road to the recycling- traffic is too fast- we need a zebra crossing
I use the bus service and the train from Bodorgan Station. Both have been good - although the bus timetable was re-organised two years ago and the service is not as frequent as it was before that time
Never used public transport, but the bus regularly stops outside my house despite the bus stop being down the road. I have friends who use public transport buses mostly and they tell me they are not as regular, and timetables keep changing. Also certain routes have been stopped so getting to a particular destination is much harder now.
Parking on road- making it dangerous
Not enough parking- in the forest
Park was in school (council took it away)
Lot of speeding through village
Footpaths are on the main road and I cannot cross safely due to speeding traffic
Lots of dogs not controlled by their owners
There is lots of litter and dog poo in the village
Volunteers clean the litter
Need to raise awareness of the dark skies project
Some places need better lighting – it’s not safe walking at night
Great to be able to talk to Medrwn Môn about where we live, to raise our concerns and issues and to be listened to
County Council do not work for the benefit of the community- they need to listen more to us
Services such as foodbanks could easily be provided if there was access to a community hub/centre where people could meet.
The village has mobile post office 3 times a week or Llangaffo is 5 mins drive away. I am aware of group events taking place (pre Covid) in Pritchard Jones and Eglwys Bach for elderly mostly
The local library was shut. The mobile post office is good, but very few hrs per week.
Good cycle, running, kayaking, and walking opportunities
No one can access an NHS dentist, even if they have the ability to travel.
The local library was shut"}}]}
