{"type": "FeatureCollection", "features": [{"type": "Feature", "geometry": {"type": "Point", "coordinates": [-4.35903, 53.262697]}, "properties": {"name": "Assets", "media": [], "title": "Assets", "_umap_id": "UYvuf", "description": "Bodfordd Community Face Book Page\nHanes Bodfordd FB page \nHeneglwys \u2013 with a hall attached\nDoctor \nDentist\nCommunity Council\nCounty Councillors \nFace to face\nLeaflet through the door about volunteers"}}, {"type": "Feature", "geometry": {"type": "Point", "coordinates": [-4.359384, 53.26339]}, "properties": {"name": "Gaps", "media": [], "title": "Gaps", "_umap_id": "AKI49", "description": "The quarry wagons speed through the village.\nThe roads cannot accommodate the width of the quarry wagons that come through our village, they come onto the pavement.\nThe lorries and tractors travelling from the quarry through the village are dangerous.\nThe pavements along the road need to be widened to make it safer for people to walk their children to school.\nRoads are so narrow, wagons so much wider.\nThe quarry wagons need to choose a different route.\nWe need better pavements and more pavements to be able to walk safely.\nThere are further plans to build houses in Bodffordd.\nHeneglwys has been modernised, had falls prevention there but stopped due to COVID.\nWould like to know who\u2019s on the Community Council and what they do.\nWe get no updates from the Community Council \u2013 nothing, we have no idea what\u2019s going on and what they are discussing.\nSome Community Councillors have been extremely proactive, others have done nothing at all \u2013 they should go.\nThey do nothing for our community, they should not be paid.\nMiss our community shop, no local shop.\nWe need a shop in the village just to sell fresh milk, bread, newspapers, eggs etc \u2013 I have to go to Gaerwen or Llangefni.\nMain shopping in Holyhead and Llangefni \u2013 expensive to use the car all the time, makes my shopping very expensive.\nIf you have no car, you\u2019re stuck.\nThere are good transport links with Llangefni.\nBuses are so random.\nBuses are very expensive.\nTaxis are so expensive.\nThe bus was \u00a35 from Bodffordd to Llangefni, that was 6 years ago \u2013 no idea how much it is now, I would never use it again.\nBuses do not go through the main villages on the A5.\nBuses go to Llangefni but no longer stop at the small villages along the A5, like Gwalchmai, Bryngwran etc.\nVery safe community to live in (I left my keys in the car ignition all day \u2013 car still there).\nThe community has pulled together to help each other.\nCommunity did some old-fashioned bartering \u2013 I needed eggs, next door had eggs, I made them a cake.\nVery safe community to live in.\nNever see the police.\nBroadband is okay but not brilliant.\nMobile phone signal is hopeless.\nThere are further plans to build houses in Bodffordd.\nThey are building more houses and planning to close the local school.\nToo much development and no community consultation, no one is listening to the community and their concerns.\nFrustration as planning in Anglesey County Council does not seem to listen to the recommendations Community Council put on planning applications \u2013 applications just get passed and no feedback as to why.\nLots of applications for housing, people cannot access the plans \u2013 only online, can\u2019t get to Llangefni to see them, so if you\u2019re not online you can\u2019t see applications.\nNothing for 40+ to do here.\nSuch a shame the Eisteddfod had to be cancelled \u2013 the committee members are not up-to-date with IT so we can\u2019t even have it as a virtual Eisteddfod.\nHaven\u2019t been able to do Zoom meetings as most of the members do not have computers, emails or mobile phones.\nAll meetings have taken place over the phone and it's working well.\nPeople really have no idea what the county councillors do \u2013 I never see them or hear from them.\nI know who they are but what do they actually do?\nWould like to know who they are and what they do.\nNo community social media pages.\nWe need notice boards around the village to see what\u2019s going on, especially for those who don\u2019t have a mobile phone or computer.\nI have to read the Holyhead and Anglesey Mail to know what\u2019s happening in my community."}}]}
