We need something here that will make people want to come here.\nLots of people still speak Welsh in the village so that\u2019s a positive.\nLiving in middle of nowhere, there\u2019s not many people around. Lots of holiday homes around, can get lonely.\nThe community help scheme quickly was set up during COVID.\nFriends that support each other. Local help and support on the Island.\nI don't know my neighbours any better than before pandemic.\nNot much goes on in community unless you have children.\nNot much goes on here.\nEven though taxis are dependable, the older generation might not be able to afford a taxi.\nTeenagers hanging around at night, leaving rubbish etc. they don\u2019t have a specific place to go in the evenings.\nFirst time buyer houses would be good in the village as it would bring the younger generation in.\nYoung people are in a horrible situation now. Since the pandemic lenders have been more stringent about lending.\nMore council houses are always good as it gives younger people a chance to move into the village.\nPeople that can\u2019t drive would really want a job in the village as it would be easier for them.\nThe type of jobs that are available people tend to stay in unless they are asked to leave.\nYoung people especially find it hard to gain employment in the area.\nNeed something to keep the young people here!\nLocal businesses can\u2019t compete with the larger companies.\nZero hour contracts are damaging young people so much, they have to go!\nDo not know who my community councillors are.\nHow would I get on the Community Council? I would definitely be interested in doing so.\nPeople do not have much confidence in the County Councillors.\nThings have been very hard since the pandemic starting.\nThe children can\u2019t see their friends and integrate.\nNot mixing like normal is having a big effect on the children.\nPeople don\u2019t know where to go for information about the village and who to ask.\nThe young residents in the village would like to see more things on that would interest them and have these things advertised.\nGeneral lack of information.\nLots of things are put online these days but what if I don\u2019t have access or not comfortable with searching for this information in this way?\nMedrwn M\u00f4n and social media- is where I got my information during COVID.\nAs a trustee I receive lots of info from Anglesey County Council and Medrwn M\u00f4n which is shared with Age Well members.\nI did find support for members when needed.\nPeople don\u2019t know who their councillors are or where to contact/find them.\nIt would be nice if councillors introduced themselves, maybe over Zoom etc.\nOnly know about Llangefni Rotary Club, fortnightly meetings.\nI go to Age Well \u2013 Llangefni, Library, Ebenezer Hall & Bodorgan Community Hall.\nPolice contact by phone or Llangefni Police Station.\nPeople speeding through the village is a constant worry, need more police presence as a deterrent.\nPolice contact by phone or Llangefni Police Station.\nWe\u2019ve had police speed cameras here multiple times.\nMust travel for a dentist.\nHave to travel to see a doctor. Not an issue for people with their own cars but for people having to rely on lifts or using public transport which is not the most reliable at the best of times it can become a big issue.\nClosest village is Gaerwen so would have to go there or Llangefni to see a doctor.\nDoctor appointments sometimes hard to get as only one phone line and engaged a lot of the time so not unusual for having to redial for 15-20 minutes.\nFire Station not continually manned as far as I know so time delay getting help.\nPublic Transport is poor and infrequent, and a 10 min walk from my house.\nBus companies and journeys are not joined up.\nTo get to hospital involves 3 buses.\nNo designated local bike routes.\nTaxis are expensive.\nI live on a back road so no bus, but lucky to be able to drive and own a car.\nWe have bus stops through the village, but they can be very unreliable.\nBus timetables are a headache. There used to be once in the bus stop but that is now gone.\nPoor Public Transport.\nMore things in the village for children would be excellent.\nShame we do not have more to do in the village that would be beneficial for our physical health.\nWould be lovely to have some sort of coastal path here for us to have our daily exercise.\nThe village is generally lovely and tidy.\nPeople in the village are very proud of their little village so they are intent on keeping it tidy and clean.\nPeople speeding through the village is a constant worry, need more police presence as a deterrent.\nNeed to find a way to slow down the traffic in the village on the main road.\nNew signs might be a good idea? It might help.\nLove this hamlet. Feels safe as we are well set back from the road and not on a main route anyway.\nWe\u2019ve had police speed cameras here multiple times as speeding is always a problem but as soon as they see it\u2019s not there it\u2019s like they put their foot down.\nThere are only a few opportunities to gain employment within the village.\nShop, post office and the primary school being the main one.\nPeople that can\u2019t drive would really want a job in the village as it would be easier for them, but the opportunities just aren\u2019t there.\nNot sure of much that goes on as I\u2019ve not used Community Centre.
