Anglesey County \nCouncil put the rent up so they couldn\u2019t afford as an organisation so they couldn\u2019t renew the lease. Anglesey County Council then sold property off to a private person who then rented it out. \nThere is a language divide in Aberffraw \u2013 between the English and the Welsh\nAberffraw is steeped with wonderful history more should be done to support the history and fables here \nCommunity has not organised any volunteering over COVID, but people have done things themselves \nWe feel that young people should be doing so much more in the community \nSome people are keeping in touch with people themselves \nCommunity needs a van to come round to sell products like they did in the old days \nLiving in pensioners bungalow cul-de-sac having good neighbours in a friendly environment\nEveryone looks out for each other very safe \nPeople have been more supportive to each other. \nAlthough some people seem to congregate more may be because they are not working but should they \nVery quiet but neighbours helping each other as we have always done, meetings with committed arranged via Zoom\nFriendly, safe and beautiful place to live here\nCounty Council sold the toilets/land and now we need toilets more than ever, the toilet at the hall is great and clean but too far from where everyone parks, so people have to use open ground and not nice to see when out walking \nPeople came for an ice cream and a chat when there was no lockdown \nNothing for children and families to do \nWe need shops for people to spend when coming to the village\nThere are no assets they\u2019ve all been converted into holiday accommodation\nAll the small shops in Llys Llywelyn have been changed into holiday lets it\u2019s so sad to see\nLaundrette is not for public use only private businesses like B&B, such a shame\nNeed a youth club needs something for the children of the village \nToo much service is not too bad when I need to use (no service on a Sunday)\nIf car not in use then dependency on bus service (but only at certain times)\nVolume of traffic through the village is awful now more than ever\nPeople causing traffic jams on the road down to church in the sea \nTraffic is awful through the village sometimes there is a grid lock usually in the summer but more now with to stop them coming here \nThere is a bad history of drug problem in Aberffraw and its still bad here  \nDon\u2019t feel safe out walking sometimes \nThere are some sheds on the costal path that are really scary to pass by, you can hear dogs barking no one seems to care for them \n\u201coutsiders\u201d taken over\nAberffraw is known as little England or the new Rhosneigr, been taken over by holiday home owners\nLocals have left Aberffraw as the peace and quiet has gone village has changed so much in a bad way-\nHave not needed to contact councillor or police\nFriendly, safe and beautiful nothing left for locals to rent but plenty of empty houses\nHoliday lettings everywhere \nHouses for sale seem all to go for holiday homes as an investment\nWorry that our language, culture will be gone as no locals left \nChapel converted to 3 holiday flats should have been for local people \nWe need homes for young families\nAll houses on the market now all seem to be sold off as holiday home such a shame as its going to be a ghost town out of season very sad there should be a stop to this like they are doing in Cornwall before it\u2019s too late \nHouse prices have increased so much local people cannot afford\nAberffraw is the new Rhosneigr or Abersoch its awful\nAberffraw has sold out to the rich and wealthy no homes affordable for locals\nToo many holiday homes and Air B&B needs to stop\nThere are no young people living here they cannot afford to buy lot have had to buy in Llangefni, we also lose our language and culture as there are no locals left here living here\nBodorgan estate should help with supporting local people housing needs \nBodorgan Estate should give back the houses they own to the community \nBodorgan Estate own a patch of land in the middle of the community either build homes for locals, not a car park \nThe School should not have been sold privately, should have been made for independent local housing for older people \nCouncil houses being sold off as holiday homes this should not be allowed\nAnglesey County Council need to tax 2 homes even more\nEvery piece of land is being built on for a holiday home, there needs to be a stop and littered everywhere since COVID \nWe need a dog warden 24/7 its awful\nIts lovely to have local businesses and they employ local people who speak Welsh\nBodorgan Estate have some local people working for them\nWe need a big investor to the island to help give jobs to locals\nThere are not many locals left here in Aberffraw so nothing here only cleaning jobs and carers or poor paid jobs   \nNo sure how to contact Community Council\nNot sure what they do and who they are\nCommunity Council website needs updating \nWho are the County Councillors?\nTerrible communication with Community Council and the community, we never know what they are doing, the minutes and agenda are never available so we cannot even access meeting or know what\u2019s taken place, we need better communication \nCommunity Council cut the grass that\u2019s about all\nThe Community Council do nothing for the community\nWe never see minutes of meeting we never get to see when the meetings are it\u2019s all done very secretively \nThe village hall is owned by the Community Council but the land it sits on is owned by Bodorgan estate which makes things very awkward \nHow can Community Council set a precept when they don\u2019t know what\u2019s needed in the community? \nCommunity Council chair has resigned \nHave not needed to contact councillor or police\nCounty Councillor  has done a lot for our community that people don\u2019t know about\nOur 2 County Councillors do nothing to try and sort out our Community Council\nCounty Councillors seem to support Bodorgan Estate and not the community \nWe never see the County Councillors, they both should be more visual in the community \nHoliday lettings know the loopholes for not paying rates and taxes ACC should be doing more to stop this\nThe Llys LLewlyn school when rumours started that they were shutting the school, pupil figures went down so Anglesey County Council shut it.
