Water Framework Directive (WFD) Management Catchments Cycle 1 is a spatial (polygon) dataset collated as defined for the implementation of the WFD) Management catchments are the unit of geography for which action plans are drafted in implementing the WFD. WFD Management Catchments have an action plan published that relates to all waterbodies that fall within its boundaries. This dataset covers the layer for Cycle 1 of the Water Framework Directive.
