An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) is an area of high scenic quality which has statutory protection in order to conserve and enhance the natural beauty of its landscape. Contact the local AONB officer for all schemes over 2 hectares in line with the Environmental Impact Assessment (Forestry) (England and Wales) (amendment) Regulations 2017.
