Glastir Woodland Creation - Scoring Layer - Communities First Clusters
Communities First is Welsh Government’s community focussed tackling poverty programme. The programme provides funding for Lead Delivery Bodies within local authority areas known as Communities First Clusters to narrow the economic, education/skills and health gaps between our most deprived and more affluent areas. It has three strategic objectives helping to achieve these outcomes: Prosperous Communities Learning Communities Healthier Communities Communities First clusters compliment the WIMD data and emphasise exactly where our most deprived communities are – improving opportunities and quality of life in these areas is a top strategic priority for the Welsh Government. http://gov.wales/topics/people-and-communities/communities/communitiesfirst/clusters/?lang=en
